liz claiborne The Liz Claiborne executive offices were expanded to occupy two full floors in a prominent building in Manhattan's fashion district. Spacesmith designed a new 'floating' stair to connect the adjoining floors. The material selection and lighting design express the design's concept of minimalism & lightness'. The stair's glass enclosure and open treads create a fluid transition between the offices and the showroom/presentation spaces. The project was the result of a strong collaboration and partnership between Spacesmith and the various client teams.
