This 3,300 square foot duplex residence overlooks Avenue Montaigne on Paris' fashionable Right Bank. The contemporary design experience within the 1920's Haussman Style apartment complex begins in the entry vestibule, lined with creamy leather floors and wall. The vestibule leads to the spacious living/dining area where high floor to ceiling windows with oak paneled porticos appear to be carved from the building stone. At the far end of the room, rough concrete and blackened steel plates encase the open fireplace. The finishes are rich and yet subtle, providing an elegant backdrop for the owner's impressive collection of contemporary art and sculpture.
